Ontem... !

Ontem...

Bem.. o dia de ontem foi super giro! Ainda meia loner nesta cidade, decidi ir (mais uma vez) às compras - estou a ficar viciada, alguém que me pare! Para além das coisas maravilhosas que comprei na Zara (óbvio!), fui também à &OtherStories - para quem não conhece, é uma loja mais upscale do grupo H&M - que estava com uma parte a 50% de desconto!! Parece que foi o destino ahahah 

Após um grandeeee passeio pelas lojas (a famosa loja da Bershka gigante com um carro lá dentro, a Zara mais bonita de sempre com uma escadaria antiga, a Abercrombie & Fitch com os miúdos giros :p e por aí fora), decidi andar até ao Castello Sforzesco para aproveitar bem o dia de sol fantástico que estava. Mesmo em frente, quando a fome bateu, parei num pequeno restaurante e encarnei a personagem da Julia Roberts no "Eat Pray Love" para ganhar coragem de comer sozinha num lugar público (possivelmente das coisas que mais detesto fazer!). Correu bem melhor do que contava: entre olhar à volta e analisar quais seriam as conversas dos outros e absorver a vista lindíssima, nem dei conta que estava sozinha! Obviamente que depois da óptimaaa pizza que comi tinha que esbater um bocado das muitas calorias que tinha acabado de ingerir e então segui viagem até ao Parco Sempione! Que excelente ideia! Estava uma luz linda que realçava o verde já acastanhado das árvores e da relva, imensa gente deitada a apanhar sol ou à conversa (ou a correr - até me senti mal de ter comido a pizza ahah) e o Arco de la Pace mesmo lá no fundo! Acho que foi a primeira vez que me imaginei realmente a viver aqui - vou tentar ir correr no parque todos os fins-de-semana de sol e já sei onde levarei amigos para uns bons picnics!! 

Mais ao final da tarde, vim a casa pousar as compras e arranjar-me e fui ter com um amigo da Sruti! Impecável e uma casa de Gregos cheia de gente - foi animadíssimo! Bebemos uns copos e fomos a um bar de rock (vá...nada de especial mas curioso :p) dançar um bocado (sim, eu a dançar rock - imaginam já o meu desespero de não ir sair há muito tempo!) e depois fomos para casa. Foi mesmo giro finalmente interagir no fim-de-semana e adorei cada segundo. Hoje fiquei-me por casa, a fazer umas tarefas domésticas e dei um passeiozinho!

Yesterday...

Yesterday was so much fun! Since I'm still kind of a loner in the city, I decided to go shopping (yet again) - seriously, I'm an addict, someone stop me! Apart from the really cute things I bought from Zara (obviously!), I also went to &OtherStories - for those who don't know it, it's an upscale chain from the H&M group - which had a 50% discount sale going on!! Must have been fate ahaha..

Anyways, after a loooong walk through all the stores (from the famous Bershka store with the huge car in it, to the most beautiful Zara store with the classic stairway and to Abercrombie & Fitch with all the cute guys, etc :p), I decided to walk to Castello Sforzesco to take advantage of the beautiful sunny day upon me. In front of the castle, when hunger hit, I stopped in a small restaurant and encarnated Julia Roberts in "Eat Pray Love" so I could gain the courage to eat alone in public (probably one of the things I hate most!). It went a lot better than I expected and, as I chose to distract myself by analyzing what could be the conversations of the people around be and tried to absorb the amazing view upon me, I almost didn't realized I was alone! Obviously after all that pizza I had to do something to burn (some) of the calories, so I continued on to Parco Sempione! And what a great idea it was! The sun was shining so brightly that it brought out the green/brown trees and lawn, people were chatting and sunbathing, some were even exercising (I almost felt bad for all that pizza ahah) and the Arco de la Pace just seemed to shine at the end of the park. It was amazing and I think it was actually the first time I could picture myself really living in this city - I'll try to go running at Sempione every sunny weekend and now I know where to take friends for an amazing picnic!

After that, I came back home, left all the shopping bags and headed to a friend's house (actually, Sruti's friend's house :p). It was a really fun evening, full of people! We had some drinks and went to a rock bar for some dancing (yeah, I danced rock - that's how desperate I was to dance ahah). It was really fun to finally interact with people during the weekend and I loved every second of it! Today I stayed home to do some chores and walked around a little bit in the area.
